Qunqana d-Darrare
When the poet meets the Troubadour
COMING SOON - QUNQANA D-DARRARE
I am honoured to collaborate with Tanar Çatalpınar, a renowned Turkish musician and vocalist, who is not just a gifted and established musician but also a true human being.
Tanar Çatalpinar had already done a cover of an Assyrian Hakkari folksong, Gudi (My Churn), and he approached me for us to work on producing an entirely new song for him in Assyrian.
We both have been working on this and we hope it wouldn’t be long before you all hear our humble contribution to strengthening fraternal ties between the peoples of Anatolia.
